Just an idea at the moment, but was thinking about the possibility of creating a joiner using still grabs from a video camera. To give an example, If i was to shoot a scene, lets say in sandymount. I would pan across the landscape. then grab the stills to create a 2d panoramic printable image.
Why? I’m not sure, but probably just to see if it works or to do something that has not been done before (possibly!).

Why go to all that effort when you can just use a digital slr?
Will the resolution be good enough to print from?
If it is printable, you cant print large?
